STEMCELL Technologies 100 µm Reversible Strainer, Small, Size: 100 µm
Reversible strainers are designed for filtration of single cells and isolation of cellular aggregates. They are available in 3 mesh sizes: 37 μm (white), 70 μm (orange), and 100 μm (grey). Single cells and objects smaller than the mesh will pass through the strainer and can be collected; larger aggregates will be trapped on the strainer and can be recovered separately. Strainers can be stacked for more precise size selection. Reversible strainers can be used for harvesting embryoid bodies (EBs) and spheroids from AggreWell™ plates (e.g. Catalog #34811). Other applications include isolation of single cells, e.g. after tissue dissociation or prior to flow cytometry. The small strainers (Catalog #27215/27216/27217) are compatible with 14 - 15 mL conical tubes (e.g. Catalog #38009) and 3 - 5 mL round-bottom tubes (e.g. Catalog #38007); the large strainers (Catalog #27250/27260/27270) are compatible with 50 mL conical tubes (e.g. Catalog #38010).

The pluriStrainer Mini is a sieving device (or cell strainer) for a wide range of laboratory applications where filtration and purification of liquids is required. It has been optimized for small sample volumes upto 700 ul. Its unique design allows fitting on a wide variation of tubes, e.g. 1.5 ml /2.0 ml reaction tubes, 15 ml conical centrifuge tubes, FACS-tubes, Cryo vials, 24 well plate and 48 well plate.

These buccal swabs have been specifically designed to offer increased yields of high quality buccal cell and genomic DNA and all species of RNA. Each SK-1S buccal swab is packaged with a 5ml plastic collection tube and cap. After the buccal sample is obtained, the swab is inserted in the tube and the shaft is broken off just above the swab head by gentle pressure at the score. The tube is then capped and ready to be transported to the lab for processing. Buccal cell sampling offers a viable alternative to blood collection and enables high yields of pure, intact DNA/RNA to be collected easily and quickly. These swabs are suitable for both human and veterinary use and offer significant advantages compared to other swab designs in terms of efficiency of cell collection by the unique swab matrix, which in conjunction with a quick release surface maximizes DNA/RNA yields. This makes them ideal for sample collection in small mammals, invertebrates and other animals. Mini swabs include a breakpoint to quickly snap the swab head off the shaft.
